Trade Air was established in April 1994 and started operations on 22 May 1995. It is a private company fully owned by Mihajlo Cvijin. In April 1999, the airline started to operate their first Let L-410 Turbolet aircraft, with two more aircraft of the same type added to their fleet during the summer of 2000.
In 2004, the airline added two Fokker 100 aircraft to their fleet and started to use them to operate charter flights for passengers in March 2005. In November 2007, Trade Air operated flights with their Fokker 100 aircraft in Australia, transporting journalists as one of two dedicated carriers for the Australian federal elections. Both Fokker 100 aircraft operated by the airline are painted in the SunAdria livery. Between November 2004 and February 2005, Trade Air based one of its Let 410s in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a short-lived and ultimately failed attempt to operate flights between Mostar and Zagreb under the Bosnia Airlines brand. In March 2007, the airline was anonymously accused of allegedly overloading their aircraft with cargo and having pilots who allegedly flew every consecutive day for two or three weeks without taking a minimum 36-hour rest period within any 7 consecutive days. The legislators dismissed the anonymous accusations. In May 2008, the airline received IOSA certification. Until June 2010 Trade Air operated scheduled flights between Zagreb, Ljubljana, and Sarajevo with two Let L-410 Turbolet aircraft besides other charter flights for either cargo or passengers. In Summer 2013, Trade Air started scheduled operations supported by the Croatian Ministry for Sea Transport and Infrastructure between Osijek and Zagreb. In May 2016 Trade Air started operating scheduled flights for Croatia Airlines from Zagreb to Athens, Barcelona, Brussels,  Copenhagen,  Dubrovnik, and Lisbon. In February 2017, Trade Air secured a contract with Swiss travel agency PowdAir to operate winter ski-charter flights to several destinations from Sion Airport from winter 2017.

Air Greenland A/S, also known as Greenlandair, is the flag carrier airline of Greenland, jointly owned by the SAS Group (37.5%), the Greenlandic Government and the Danish Government. It operates a fleet of 32 aircraft, including 1 airliner used for transatlantic and charter flights, 9 fixed-wing aircraft primarily serving the domestic network, and 22 helicopters feeding passengers from the smaller communities into the domestic airport network. Flights to heliports in the remote settlements are operated on contract with the government of Greenland.

Besides running scheduled services and government-contracted flights to most villages in the country, the airline also supports remote research stations, provides charter services for tourists and Greenland's energy and mineral-resource industries and permits medivac during emergencies. Air Greenland has seven subsidiaries, an airline, hotels, tour operators, a travel agency specialized in Greenlandic tourism and the Arctic Umiaq Line, an unprofitable but government-subsidized ferry service.
Founded in 1960 as Grønlandsfly, the airline started its first services with Catalina water planes and within the decade expanded to include DHC-3 Otters as well as Sikorsky S-61 helicopters, some of which remain in active service. The majority of operations were based on helicopters until the newly established Greenland Home Rule began investing in a network of short takeoff and landing airfields. These were very expensive to construct and Greenland's airport fees are still among the highest in the world;[2] they also required a new fleet: DHC-7 turboprops uniquely suited to the harsh terrain and weather conditions in Greenland. The reliability of connections improved as the domestic airport network expanded in the 1990s: increasing use of the Dash 7s made the airline less restricted by inclement weather. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Air Greenland acquired a Boeing 757 and an Airbus A330, allowing it to open connections to Copenhagen until then operated by SAS which also competed mid to late 2000s. In the 21st century, it competes with Air Iceland for international connections and small charter services domestically.

About Aer Lingus:

Founded in 1936 by the Irish Government the airline was launched with £100,000, advanced by Blackpool and West Coast Air services. The airline was registered on May 22.
These days it operates all Airbus fleet but in 1936 the newly formed Aer Lingus (taken from the Irish words for air fleet, Aer Loingeas) launched its first flight.
The flight from Dublin’s Baldonnel airfield (now called Casements Aerodrome) to Bristol’s Whitchurch airport took place on May 27, 1936, in a De Havilland 84 Dragon biplane, named Iolar, which means Eagle. The plane’s registration was EI-ABI. At the start of 1940 a new Dublin airport opened up in the suburb of Collinstown and Aer Lingus moved its operations there. It purchased new aircraft and begun services to Liverpool and a new domestic route to Shannon, however, the outbreak of war in Europe meant the skies over Britain and Ireland were a busy and often dangerous place.
Flights were stripped right back with a loose service running between Dublin and Liverpool, or to Manchester depending on the security situation at the city’s Barton Aerodrome.
With the Second World War over regular services resumed in November 1945. The company introduced its first flight attendants and the aircrafts fleet of Douglas DC-s were painted with the distinctive silver and green branding. A new Anglo-Irish Agreement in 1946 gave the company exclusive air traffic rights from Ireland to Britain. With business on the up, the company purchased seven new Vicker Viking aircraft. In an attempt to consolidate the Irishness of the brand the decision was made to name all the craft in the fleet after saints. The following year the first annual blessing of the fleet took place on July 23.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. Kenry from Swords, Co Dublin. Aer Lingus inaugurated its first transatlantic service in 1958 with a service to New York, a Super Constellation aircraft affectionately referred to as ‘Connies’. In December 1960 the airline propelled itself into the jet age with the arrival of three new Boeing 720 for use on the New York route and their new American destination, Boston. The conversion of the whole fleet to the new jet equipment began in 1965. The upgraded fleet was the first to sport the Aer Lingus shamrock on the fin.On March 24, 1968, Aer Lingus flight 712 crashed en route from Cork to London. All 61 passengers and crew perished. The aircraft, a Vickers Viscount 803 crashed into the sea off Tusker Rock, Co.Wexford. Despite a two-year investigation, no cause for the incident was determined in the years following the crash. A modern-day investigation concluded in 2002 by the Irish Government, claimed it was most likely that the plane broke up mid-air due to a structural failure of the port tail-plane caused by corrosion, metal fatigue or a bird strike. Speculation that the plane had been brought down by a missile strike during a training exercise by British armed forces was ruled out. Contrary to the standard aviation practice of discontinuing an aircraft number after a crash, the airline still runs a Cork to London route under this flight number to this day. In 1984 the then CEO of Aer Lingus, David Kennedy was made the president of the International Air Transport Association, giving the Irish a reason to take pride in their aviation industry. Two years later Aer Lingus celebrated its golden jubilee, restoring their original aircraft to take part in air shows around the country. Today Aer Lingus operates a fleet of 48 commercial aircraft, all still traditionally named after saints.

IndiGo airlines is hiring!

IndiGo, the most famous low-cost airline in India is looking for cabin crew and will host a recruitment event in New Delhi this 9th of September.

About IndiGo

IndiGo is a low-cost airline headquartered at Gurgaon, Haryana, India. It is the largest airline in India by passengers carried and fleet size, with a 38.7% market share as of July 2017. It is also the largest individual Asian low-cost carrier in terms of jet fleet size and passengers carried, and the eighth largest carrier in Asia with over 41 million passengers carried in 2016. The airline operates to 46 destinations both domestic and international. It has its primary hub at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.

The airline was founded as a private company, by Rahul Bhatia of InterGlobe Enterprises; and Rakesh Gangwal, a United States-based expatriate Indian; in 2006. It took delivery of its first aircraft in July 2006 and commenced operations a month later. The airline became the largest Indian carrier in passenger market share in 2012. The company went public in November 2015.
IndiGo was founded in 2004 as a private company by Rahul Bhatia of InterGlobe Enterprises and Rakesh Gangwal, a United States-based NRI. InterGlobe had a 51.12% stake in IndiGo and 47.88% was held by Gangwal's Virginia-based company Caelum Investments. IndiGo placed a firm order for 100 Airbus A320-200 aircraft in June 2005 with plans to begin operations in mid-2006. IndiGo took delivery of its first Airbus aircraft on 28 July 2006, nearly one year after placing the order. It commenced operations on 4 August 2006 with a service from New Delhi to Imphal via Guwahati.[10] By the end of 2006, the airline had six aircraft and nine more aircraft were acquired in 2007. In December 2010, IndiGo replaced state-run carrier Air India as the third largest airline in India, behind Kingfisher Airlines and Jet Airways with a passenger market share of 17.3%.

In 2011, IndiGo placed an order for 180 Airbus A320 aircraft in a deal worth US$15 billion. In January 2011, after completing five years of operations, the airline got permission to launch international flights. The airline launched international services in September 2011. In December 2011, the DGCA expressed reservations that the rapid expansion could impact passenger safety.

In February 2012, IndiGo took delivery of its 50th aircraft, less than six years after it began operations in 2006. For the quarter ending March 2012, IndiGo was the most profitable airline in India and became the second-largest airline in India in terms of passenger market share. On 17 August 2012, IndiGo became the largest airline in India in terms of market share surpassing Jet Airways, six years after commencing operations.

In January 2013, IndiGo was the second-fastest-growing low-cost carrier in Asia behind Indonesian airline Lion Air. In February 2013, following the announcement of the civil aviation ministry that it would allow IndiGo to take delivery of only five aircraft that year, the airline planned to introduce low-cost regional flights by setting up a subsidiary. Later, IndiGo announced that it planned to seek permission from the ministry to acquire four more aircraft, therefore taking delivery of nine aircraft in 2013.  As of March 2014, IndiGo is the second-largest low-cost carrier in Asia in terms of seats flown.

In August 2015, IndiGo placed an order of 250 Airbus A320neo aircraft worth $27 billion, making it the largest single order ever in Airbus history.  IndiGo announced a ₹3,200 crore (US$500 million) initial public offering on 19 October 2015 which opened on 27 October 2011

  • which qualities do you have to be part of the SAS team?
  • give me an example of outstanding customer service?

About FlyDubai:

Flydubai (Arabic: فلاي دبي‎‎), legally Dubai Aviation Corporation (Arabic: مؤسسة دبي للطيران‎‎), is a government-owned low-cost airline with its head office and flight operations in Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport. The airline operates between a total of 95 destinations, serving the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe from Dubai. In July 2008, the government of Dubai established the airline. Although flydubai is not part of The Emirates Group, Emirates supported flydubai during the initial establishing phase. On 14 July 2008 flydubai signed a firm order with American aircraft manufacturer Boeing at the Farnborough Air Show for 50 Boeing 737-800s with a total value of US$3.74 billion, with the option to change the order to the larger and longer range Boeing 737-900ER, according to the airline's demand. The first of these aircraft was delivered on 17 May 2009. Scheduled flights commenced on 1 June, with services to Beirut, Lebanon and Amman, Jordan. Since then, the route network has been significantly expanded.
On 13 February 2013, flydubai announced that it was in talks with Boeing and Airbus for a 50-aircraft order. On 19 June 2013, the airline announced that it would be adding Business Class service to its flights. The Business class cabin would feature 12 seats between aisle and window, three-course meals, 12-inch televisions, a business class lounge, Italian leather seats to its offering in a bid to cater to business travelers in the emirate, access to more than 200 films, and power outlets suitable for plugs from over 170 countries.
As of May 2017, flydubai serves a total of 94 destinations. The airline does not try to poach customers from its sister airline Emirates and aims to serve destinations on new routes that previously did not exist, linking Dubai with the home country of guest workers and low-cost travel destinations.
The airline currently has one hub and operates out of Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport. However, to accommodate for the growing airline and the expansion of the national airline at DXB, flydubai began to operate flights out of Al-Maktoum International (DWC) from 25 October 2015. The airline began with 70 flights per week to Amman, Beirut, Chittagong, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuwait and Muscat from DWC. At the Farnborough Air Show in July 2008, the airline ordered 50 Boeing 737-800s valued at approximately US$3.74 billion with substitution rights to convert its 737-800 orders to 737-900ERs (extended range) in the future.
In November 2010, flydubai agreed on a sale and leaseback deal with Avolon on another four 737-800s.
On 17 November 2013 at the Dubai Airshow, Boeing and flydubai announced a commitment for about 100 Boeing 737 MAX 8s and 11 Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft. This commitment was valued at about US$11.4 billion at list prices, making it the largest ever Boeing single-aisle airliner purchase in the Middle-East.
On 6 January 2014, flydubai finalized its Boeing 737 MAX order. The order was finalized with an order for 75 Boeing 737 MAX 8s and 11 Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, along with the purchase rights for 25 more Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. This order is valued at US$8.8 billion at list prices.

How about the recruitment process?

If you want to join FlyDubai you have to apply on their website

https://careers.flydubai.com/jobs/cabin-crew-dubai-uae-assessment-centre-869

If your profile is suitable you will be contacted to complete an online test if you need a hint on how to complete this kind of online tests visit my blog's section:

http://getyourwingsnow.blogspot.co.uk/2017/01/how-to-pass-infamous-online-test.html

after you pass the online test you will be able to attend an assessment, which is usually held in Dubai. Searching on the net I found this girl's experience with FlyDubai, I think it's really well written. have a look!
" Ihaven't seen any info about Flydubai so id like to share my experience with you...

The AD is pretty long we started at 7.30 am sharp ( we were around 70 I would say) and I went home around 16.00...
I 've got the job and I'll start training next year in January .
Here how it is ... GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY

The day starts with the usual registration, u go there and they ask you where do you come from and what are you doing at the moment.. Then you collect a badge with your name and number on it
Before entering the AD room they measure ur height, min is 158, only one girl didnt make it.
So you are finally inside and there are like 8 round tables. They introduce the team and the company a bit and then u start the maths and english tests straight away.. when i opened it i was like wow, 20 questions of maths but believe me they r easy, u have calculator and multiple choice, u cant go wrong.. i m BAD at maths and believe me only like 5 people didnt pass!! english test is 10 questions and easy.. u have 40 minutes so plenty of time!!! after that they continue talking for a bit then group exercise.. here a lot of people were sent home.... its 2 of them:
1) Exercise: u just crashed in the space and u need to choose 8 items to take with u, u make a list from 1 to 8 and then discuss it with the team... on top of that the recruiter gives u a topic that is secret, u never have to tell ur group.. mine was that i had to made sure that Pistols were among this 8 items... people in my group were quiet so i had no problems and i was actually the only one who got the item in the final 8!

2) Exercise: u have ditched and ur ship will sink in 2 hours .. u have 45 minutes till u can operate the slide raft and it takes 15 minute for each person.. again u individually have to decide how many people u can take ( i picked 8 but in real it was 5, lol my maths sucks).. most of the people also picked 8..

Ah I forgot to say that u do that in 2 different groups...

After this round more than half of the people were sent home!!!

So the eliminations round r just like etihad.. they call ur number.. if u stay in the room ( we didnt change like with etihad) its a good sign!!
After that you have the ROLE PLAY, which is something they have introduced since few weeks ( lucky us )... they decide who u gonna be with, its in pair... the role play r 2 and they dont change, everybody does the same 2:
FIRST one is u r a cabin crew on a full flight and there is angry passenger that complains that the woman with the kid behind him is very loud... you have to solve the situation.. the recruiter dont take part in it, they just watch you..

SECOND one i was a bride that had to go and pick my wedding cake, the cake had to be pink and black to match my dress.. i go to the shop and i find out that the cake is another color, i had to pretend to be very upset cuz the wedding is in the afternoon and there is no time..
Only 2 people didnt pass.

After that u go inside and they give u the time for final interview.. Mine was at 15.00 so i sat down and they told me to talk about me, about my cv and my work experience, they asked me why flydubai and not emirates for example ( i didnt say cuz im too freaky old lol) and other simple questions based on my work experiences.. after that they start with the usual customer service questions...

Question 1) : TELL ME ABOUT A RECENT TIME WHEN YOU HAD TO OVERCOME AN OBASTACLE AT WORK, WHAT DID YOU DO AND WHY?

Question 2) TELL ME ABOUT THE TIME WHEN YOU PARTECIPATED IN A VERY GOOD TEAM WORK, HOW WAS IT, WHY WAS IT SUCCESSFUL?

Question 3 ) TELL ME ABOUT A TIME WHEN YOU HAD TO DEAL WITH A VERY ANGRY CUSTOMER, HOW DID U FEEL, WHAT SKILLS DID U USE?

So thats all, i know its long to read but as i ve said, its a very long day!!!"

 About Hi Fly

The airline was incorporated in 2005 and concluded its initial certification process in April 2006, when it was issued with an Air Operator Certificate by the Portugal civil aviation authority, INAC.Since obtaining its Air Operator's Certificate, the carrier has gained all the statutory EU-OPS (regulations specifying minimum safety and related procedures for commercial passenger and cargo fixed-wing aviation) and Federal Aviation Administration Safety Agency (EASA) approvals. It also obtained the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification in September 2011.

Hi Fly's first aircraft was an Airbus A330-300 which had previously been operated by Air Luxor (which was owned by the same family that now owns Hi Fly before being sold and shut down). The aircraft was recently under contract to the Air Component of the Belgian Armed Forces until the end of 2013. Two A310-300s were then added in 2008 and these were leased to Oman Air flying the carrier's first long-haul routes (to London/Heathrow and Bangkok). New aircraft were then delivered from Airbus in 2008 and 2009: an A330-200 and two A340-500s, the latter used for approximately 5 years on behalf of Arik Air in Nigeria on its route between Lagos and New York/John F. Kennedy, painted in its colors, until Hi Fly repossessed the airframes in spring 2015. Since then, more A330s and A340s have also been obtained, including four in 2013. In February 2014, Hi Fly added its first narrow-body aircraft, an A321-200 that has been leased to the Belgian Army in replacement of the former A330-300.

At the start of March 2013, Hi Fly Malta was created as Hi Fly's Maltese subsidiary operating a fleet of Airbus A340-600s; that division now houses a pair of A340-300s.

Hi Fly's head office is located in Lisbon’s city center. Inside are all the corporate offices plus departments for flight and ground operations, engineering, and maintenance, safety, security, commercial, finance, administration as well as quality control. There are also training classrooms for flight and cabin crews. At Lisbon Airport, there is a maintenance hangar operated by MESA – a group subsidiary.
